"Looking dry" isn't enough. Always thoroughly pat those hidden areas dry with a lint-free cloth/towel after cleaning.

Mistake 2: High Heat = Damage.
Using a hair dryer on a hot setting is risky. It can soften and distort delicate silicone features (like facial contours) and melt the adhesive for eyelashes or makeup, causing them to detach.
